The first DJ app to partner with Spotify, way back in 2014, Pacemaker is less a tool for serious DJs, and more about automating the mixing of playlists. One of the main DJ app makers, Algoriddim, is switching to Tidal and SoundCloud, while another, Pacemaker, recently told Music Ally that it would be striking its own direct licensing deals to replace the Spotify integration.
